After ignoring a toothache for as long as I could tolerate I went into the dentist and heard the dreaded words "Root Canal". This was many years ago, and the dentist who performed the procedure is a good friend now. I have since become a Dental Lab Technician as a result of that encounter. I guess the moral of the story is regular checkups, and not putting off my oral care could have saved me from root canal treatment. That being said, if it is the necessary treatment for you technology has made it much easier. Look at me I gained a friend and a new career!
